What is it about? 

 

Twist has facilitated dozens of Inset days and teacher development programmes. We challenge teachers to re-evaluate their existing skills and encourage them to boost their confidence, versatility and enthusiasm. The big picture is always about leadership and empowerment.

 

 

 

One method we use to encourage self-examination and re-appraisal is to engage teachers with people in parallel professions. This refreshing experience stimulates creative approaches and new ideas, and the contacts made often develop into longer-term collaborations. We follow up the initial training days with school sessions, bringing teachers and pupils together to experiment with the new approaches.
