The Attorney General has recognised The Twist Partnership for our transformational work with young people. The Rt Hon Baroness of Scotland presented a certificate to Shankara Angadi, Director of Twist, at 11 Downing Street in March 2010. Read more in The Lawyer magazine.

Twist also received a certificate for its Corporate Responsibility work with Simmons & Simmons. Twist designed a customised CR programme for Simmons, in which trainee solicitors mentored youth in Tower Hamlets who were at risk of offending or dropping out of school. With their mentors' help, the teens set up and ran a summer school for younger pupils (part-hosted by Simmons) and did a week of work experience in various business services departments.

In addition to being recognised by the Attorney General, the 'Make it Happen' scheme also won Best Corporate Responsibility Initiative at The Lawyer's HR Awards 2010.
